Cock-a-Doodle-D'oh!

Behold, breakfast’s new behemoth

Call it eggs over queasy: When St. Louis–based fast-food joint Hardee’s introduced its Country Breakfast Burrito in October, the makers of the Monster Thickburger claimed to be getting “a little bit country and a little bit Español.” But with its 920 calories and 60 grams of fat, we’re more inclined to call the massive mash-up of two omelets, bacon, sausage, ham, hash browns, cheddar cheese and sausage gravy a little bit coronary and a little bit Lipitor.

’Tis the season to overindulge, though, so we did our nutritional homework to figure out how many of these other breakfast items you could down in one sitting to get the same caloric or fat content. Bring a napkin.
